Heather at I Am Fuel, You Are Friends tells the story of making a three-hour drive to see the Avett Brothers play.

In hindsight, Emotionalism was one of my favorite albums of last year, but I didn’t steal it from Pax until ‘08, thus it missed my legendary countdown of 2007. “Will You Return?” is the most irresistible of a crazy-catchy batch of tunes.

Now check out Fuel/Friends’ video of “Paranoia in Bb Major.” The way they include percussion is awesome; I also enjoy the mid-bridge instrument change, which is perfectly timed.
