A few months ago, Oasis douchebag-in-chief Noel Gallagher shared his thoughts on the Glastonbury Music Festival’s decision to have Jay-Z headline one of the stages, and in the process showed the forethought and mental acuity that has kept Oasis so relevant for so many years:
“Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music and even when they throw the odd curve ball in on a Sunday night you go ‘Kylie Minogue?’ I don’t know about it. But I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.”
As shown in the below video, Jay-Z responded appropriately enough. To paraphrase, the man’s got 99 problems but Noel Gallagher ain’t one:
Obviously Jay-Z hasn’t been taking singing lessons. But that AC/DC version of 99 Problems is frickin’ rad — as the kids say.
